报告人简介：

朱伟博士是罗氏上海创新中心药物化学负责人。2004年获上海有机化学研究所博士学位，导师：马大为教授。2004年至2009年，先后在欧洲化学与生物研究所和匹兹堡大学进行博士后研究。2009年加入罗氏公司，从事抗生素、病毒学、肿瘤学和免疫学等领域相关的新药研发。作为负责人，他成功开发了两个临床药物。2020年3月，他晋升为罗氏上海创新中心药物化学负责人。朱伟博士在药物化学顶级期刊J.Med.Chem.等发表高水平研究论文十余篇，申请30余项专利发明，多次受邀在国内外学术会议上做大会报告。

报告摘要：

In the first part of this lecture, an overview of small molecule drug discovery and development will be presented, spanning from target assessment, hit identification, hit to lead, lead optimization, to clinical candidate selection. To illustrate this process, in the second part, a case study of HBV core protein assembly (CpAM) inhibitors for the treatment of choric HBV infection will be discussed.
